Teacher shortfall...
I read yesterday that there is a shortfall of 17,ooo(approx) teachers for basic education in Ghana. And that is if all teachers graduating this year teach and no one leaves teaching!!!
But to be honest what can you expect when some teachers can work for a year and not get paid! not much incentive is it?

hi lucy, see i'm not the only beach bum! so much for you being away from water and you get a course at the beach too, how jammy is that! have had a go at improving my blog, few more words not just photos, just easier to write on the lap top off line and send a monthly email update, or so it seems to me. anyway am working on it. may be better when i get to my house and get set up. still in colombo at the moment not safe in trinco yet. read amy's blog the other day, bloody hell what a start! you will be getting my 4000+ word update soon, lucky you :-)
